Born in Harman, he was a son of Mrs. Aldmish (Long) Wilfong, and the late Joseph Wilfong. He was a lumberman and farmer.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, Rosa Ellen (Lawrence) Wilfong; four sons, Floyd J. and Clarence Wilfong, here; Henry E. Wilfong, Geneva, Switzerland, and Carl E. Wilfong, Baltimore; five daughters, Mrs. Lillian Montgomery, Mrs. Vietta Pennington, and Mrs. Lena Davis, all of Baltimore; Mrs. Doris Hamrick, here, and Miss Margaret Ellen Wilfong, at home; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The body is at the Hinkle Funeral Home.
A service will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Church of God, Dry Fork. Rev. Hobart Hedrick will officiate and interment will be in Pennington Cemetery, Dry Fork.
