Viewers Frank Filmore Pennington, 39, a resident of 8550 Rollin Highway Adison, Mich., died Thursday at his residence.
He was born at Hambleton, April 14, 1943, a son of Howard Pennington, a patient in Courtland Acres Nursing Home at Thomas, and Stella Lena Snyder Pennington of Parsons.
On June 12, 1964, he married Elwanda "Cookie" Turner, formerly of Hendricks, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are one son, William Joseph Pennington and one daughter, Denise Joyce Pennington, both at home; three bothers, John H. Pennington, Hambleton, David A. Pennington, Morenci, Mich., and Jimmy L. Pennington, Adrian, Mich.; one half brother, Dale Showlater, Mount Vernon, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Gary (Judy) Roy, Elkins, and Mrs. Charles (Wilma) Fields of Colorado; one half sister, Mrs. Melvin (Lucy) Nestor, Parsons, paternal grandmother, Jenny Snyder, Parsons; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews of the Parsons area.
Mr. Pennington served 15 years with the Dura Corporation of Adrian.
**I believe this came from the newspaper in Elkins, WV, the Inter-Mountain, Vol. 76, No. 114. The date is missing from the obituary but handwritten next to it from one some one in my family is: "Feb. 14, 1983 paper;" "died 10, buried Feb. 15, 1983."
