Thanks so much Craig,
I guess I was remembering wrong and talking off the top of my head. Blanche Jordan was Zan's, not Gladys' mom. I met Gladys mom a few times years ago. She embroidered pretty pillow cases I remember. I was embroidering some at the same time is why I remember that so well. Gladys' gave me what genealogy I have on them up through all th brothers on Zan's side. I was delighted by the unusual names in the family.
I will add you to my on line-tree so you can contribute, copy, add, delete stuff that you know on the Norman's and and Jordan's side. I would love, too, to know who all those folks are in the Jordan picture.
Sincerely, Marynella.
Glady's has been deceased a while now and I think Zan is too. He had alheimer's when he got old and would wonder out of one of his son's house if not watched carefully.
Mark, and Rick (his sons are alive and in town as far as I know.
I have not seen Mark in years. Rick I ran into in a restaurant last years. I was there with his former wife who is one of my daughter's Chris. He has had cancer and so have I so, wer both exchanged conmiserations about that. He is pretty bad off with the cancer Chris tole me. Chris and Rick were married for 14 years and had two boys . . . Rick worked at the Post Office and still dues as far as I know. My daughter Chris works there also.
Mr. Zan Norman was a real character. He dressed as "Freckles The Clown" and worked benefits, hosptals and such in town for years. He was well loved as the clown and he even ran in 5 K races in that clown outfit once. (Chris and I ran in the same one). He had o curned-toed shoes and kept right up with us too. Zan and I both worked at Pensacola Jr. College for years. He was a Carpenter in the Maintenance Dept. and I was the secretary in the Maintenance Dept. He was known for his peculiararities. One of such was grinding up carrots at lunch time and drinking the juice. He did drink coffee, he may a stuff called pero. He grew unusal vegetables too.

Marynella,
Thanks for the reply. It really is a great picture!! Too bad about not knowing who else is in the picture. I’ll send it to my dad and see if he recognizes anyone.
In looking over my records, I don’t believe that Glady’s was related to the Jordan's. I am related to Zan Norman’s mother, Blanche. Blanche’s sister, Jessie was my great grandmother.
I’ll see what I can find out about the picture ...
Thanks,

Dear Craig,
I am sorry. I can not help you. This picture was sent to me years ago via Internet by a person I was communicating with shortly on the Norman/Jordan families. My daughter, Crystle, was married to Rick Norman, son of Zan Egbert Norman whose wife was Gladys and related to the Jordans. I think her mom was a Jordan. No names were given on the pictures. I was only told at the time that they were Glady's Jordans. It is the only pictures I have of the Jordans on those two grandson's of mine.
Wish I could help you more. I DO need more info on the Jordans related to Gladys if you have it.
