Went home to be with her Lord, April 14, 2009 due to complications from a cerebral hemorrhage. Ruth was born in Glouster, OH to the late William and Ella (Sharp) Whaley. She is also preceded in death by eight brothers, Albert, Johnny, Billy, Rich, Russell, Pat, Elden and Chuck. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Lambert to whom she was married 53 years; two daughters, Cindy Reisinger of Canton, Debbie (Bud) Channell of Akron; five grandchildren, Tricia, Tara, Gabby, Cindy and Buddy; one great-grandson, Skyler; two sisters, Thelma Waldeck of Stone Mountain, GA, Virginia Fiscus of Massillon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins all of whom she loved dearly. Ruth's great love for her family, life and people was reflected in her daily life; she spent her life trying to help others and continued till the moment she died. She was a Christian lady who enjoyed peace, hope, love, strength, courage and great dignity. She will be greatly missed by those she left for another angel has gone home. Funeral services will be Friday, April 17, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum- Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. My Aunt Ruth passed away in Cleveland Clinic from a blood clot in her leg last night, April, 14, 2009. She was married to Raymond Lambert son of Luther Lambert and Lena Bell Snyder Lambert. She and Uncle Ray live in North Canton, OH.
