682Funeral services for Caleb J. White, 59, area rent director for Allegany county, who died Thanksgiving Day at his home in Rawlings, were held yesterday afternoon at the Hafer Chapel. Rev. Louis Chastain, pastor of the Cresaptown Methodist Church officiated assisted by Rev. Dr. Walter M. Michael, pastor of Centre Street Methodist Church.
Masonic rites were exemplified by Ohr Lodge No. 131 and Antioch Commandery Knights Templar. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Walter N. Riley, William D. Luzler, Roy C. Gilpin, Walter S. Eyler, Robert F. Askey and Marvin Kelter.

Caleb James White, 59, area rent director for Allegany County, died early yesterday morning at his home in Rawlings. He had been ill since Oct. 3.
Mr. White, a former building contractor in the county was president of the official board of Rawlings Methodist Church. He also served as superintendent of the church's Sunday School.
He belongs to the Allegany County Farm Bureau and held membership in Ohr Lodge No. 131, A. F. and A. M., Ali Ghan Shrine Temple, Salem Loyal Arch Chapter No. 18, and Antioch Commandery No. 6, Knights Templar.
Mr. White was born in Randolph County, W. Va., a son of the late James W. and Ellen (Nelson) White.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mabel (Armstrong) White; three children by a former marriage, Mrs. John R. Winebrenner, this city, and Mrs. William H. Burner and James H. White, both of Ellerslie; four brothers, George L White, Alpena, W. Va.; Christopher C. White, Elkins, W. Va.; Floyd White, Emoryville, W. Va. and Harper White, this city, and four grandchildren.
The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Louis P Chastain, pastor of Cresaptown Methodist Circuit, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Masonic rites will be conducted by Ohr Lodge and Antioch Commandery.
