Mrs. Musie N. Jaquay, 80, of RD#1 County Road 20, passed away March 4, 1995, at her home in Smyrna, NY, following a brief illness.
She was born August 21, 1914, at Circleville, the daughter of Allen H. and Chloe Lambert Nelson. In 1921, her family moved to Smyrna, NY. On September 22, 1951 she married Albert L. Jaquay in Earlville, NY. Mrs. Jaquay worked 12 years for the Sherburne Knitting Mill prior to he marriage.
Mrs. Jaquay loved the Smyrna area and had served on the Smyrna Election Board of several years. She enjoyed taking care of her lawn and gardening with flowers and raising vegetables for canning.
Surviving are her husband, Albert of Smyrna, NY; a daughter, Sheila Hodge and her husband, Robert F. of Earlville, NY; a sister, Irene Bland of Smyrna, NY; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Earl Nelson of Circleville and Gerald Nelson of Smyrna, NY, and by a sister, Mary N. Barnes of Smyrna, NY.
