Delores (Dee) May Brink passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. She was born to Walter and Florine Snyder Nov. 12, 1925, in Weippe, where she was raised.
Dee met the love of her life, Edwin Brink, at a community dance, and they were married Aug. 26, 1949. After marriage, they moved to Lewiston, where they made their home since. Dee and Ed had three children: daughter Patty, and sons Ed and Tony.
She looked forward to the holiday season - enjoying baking and cooking with granddaughters, and playing cards with family and friends. We will miss her chocolate-chip cookies and fruit cake. The last year of Dee's life was brightened by the arrival of her great-grandson, Brayden, who occupied many of her days with much enjoyment.
Dee is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ed; her two sons, Ed and wife Kathy Long-Brink, and Tony Brink; granddaughters Jennifer Coy and her husband Brandon, and Jessica Brink; and great-grandson Brayden Coy, with another great-grandson to be born in October. She is also survived by one brother, Boyd Snyder of Orofino, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patty; five brothers; and one sister.
The family requests friends join them for a covered-dish celebration of Dee's life at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hereth Park in Lewiston. Those attending should bring a lawn chair.
