I haven't been able to track down who her parents were just yet. My
sister-in-law has been trying to get me to look into her family
history for a couple of decades now...just getting started. When I
talked to Betty and her daughter Pamela I was having trouble figuring
out just exactly what their maiden names were, so I quit, but this
week I talked her (my sister-in-law) son into having his yDNA tested,
so I thought I would start looking.

Since that time, Betty died (10 Nov 1995 in Portland, OR; born 22 Oct
1921, in Idaho), and her daughter disappeared (presumed dead now, it's
been at least ten years). I always called her Betty, I didn't even
know her name was Opal until this week. She was married at least one
other time, to a Mr. Underwood, which was her name when I knew her. I
don't think she had children by him. Her children, as far as I could
get my sister-in-law to remember were: Patrick, Matthew, Jack, David,
Pamela and Marge. I know Jack is deceased now, Marge lives in New
Mexico.

Pamela Kay Jordan was born about 1943 and has gone missing in the last
ten years or so. She lived in Portland, OR her whole life. She was
married twice first to Bruce Clayton Madison sometime around 1960.
Bruce was born 1942 in Minnesota. They had two children, Michael Alan
and Cindy Marie (born 4 Nov 1963, Portland). They divorced not long
after Cindy was born, and Pam remarried Jack Clark in the 1960's. She
had no children with Jack, but he adopted both of her children, so
they are known by the name Clark. Pam and Jack were divorced in the
1980's, maybe late-70's.

Mike Clark was married to a nice girl named Paula, they had a son and
daughter, but I can't remember their names. I'll ask my niece. He
disappeared one day, in the mid-90's. He's still alive, Pam's sister
Marge hired a detective to find him, which he did, but said he didn't
want to be found, so everyone just leaves him alone. Cindy married my
brother Rocky Selk in Vancouver, WA on 20 Jan 1990. They live in
Colorado now. I've actually known Cindy and her family since I was
seven (1977). At that time she was dating a friend of Rocky's, Mike
Lysakowski. She had three children with Mike; Jay Alan Lysakowski,
Jennifer Ann Clark and Brady Michael Clark. No children with Rocky.
Jay has four sons, Jennifer has two sons (Isaiah and Ethan), and Brady
has two sons (Jayce and Alexander).

As far as Betty's other children, I know Cindy keeps in touch with
Marge once in a while. I'll see if I can get her to settle down and
call her to get a little more information. When I find out more I'll
let you know. I'll email Jennifer right now.
