William Henry Tyler married Susannah Carter on 23 Dec 1852, and the couple were the parents of nine children: Almedia, McCord, an unnamed boy (Feb 1857), Rosetta Ann (White) (1859-1925), Rolla (b. 1862), Ollie E. (Helton) (b. Dec 1864, d. btw. 1910-1923), Dora (1867-1874), Lula B. (Johnson) (1870-1899), and Ella (Gray) (b. Jun 1876). Susannah passed away in 1883, and on 17 Nov 1897 William married Malinda Hutchinson Leeper.
William's death certificate does not indicate his father's name, but I have seen it in various sources given as Evans Tyler of White County, TN, who was already in Greene County, MO by the time of the 1840 census. William's death certificate lists his mother's maiden name as Malinda Crawford.
