Hello: ID 14903, William W. Woodward. His child, the “unknown Woodward” was Abbie Woodward, b 11 Aug 1856, Willard, Greene, Missouri. D 23 Mar 1949, Willard, Greene, Missouri. Married to James Beckly Gilmore, 12 Jan 1873 & Buried with James in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Willard. Abbie & James Beckley are my great grandparents.

William’s second wife, Mary F. Goodin Gilmore was first married to Samuel Marion Gilmore, an uncle of James Beckly. Mary F. and Samuel Marion had 4 children, per 1860 census, and she had at least 2 children with William. Mary F. is buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery as is her father, Joseph Goodin. Mary’s vital dates: 26 Apr 1830-8 Mar 1908. Source: Green Cty Missouri Cemeteries, volume III.

I found your inquiry when I “googled” William W. Woodward, trying to find out more about him, like where he and his children with Mary F., are buried as well as married names of the daughters, if existed. Mary F. & William are included in the 1900 Census (as Woodard). Any ideas?

I know you are trying to link William, Asa, Jacob and Penelope to Edward. Are you sure Edward is William’s father? Have you come across an Alsey Woodward? Thank you.
