Thomas A. Capozzi Sr., 52, of Akron died unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999.
Tom was born in Akron on Oct. 14, 1947. He was a self-employed car salesman, a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Vietnam conflict as a mine sweeper, and graduated from North High School in 1965.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony J. in 1994. He is survived by his sons, Thomas A. Jr., Andrew P., and Matthew J.; mother, Cecilia Capozzi; sisters, Celeste (Marty) Kubilus, and Paula (Bill) Mong; and brother, Anthony Capozzi; two grandchildren, Mikayla Capozzi and Austin Brown.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron, Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's School Fund. (Hennessy-Bagnoli AKRON, 376-4251.)
