43Note: In 1788 George was living in Captain Ruddell's Company Number 11 in Rockingham County, Virginia and was credited with having three horses available for the use of the VA Militia. George lived in what is now Pendleton County, West Virginia.
On 23 Feb 1795, George was the executor of the Adam Bible, Sr. estate.
His will was written on 16 Dec 1833 and proven in court on 5 Sep 1839.
1787 taxes were paid by his father. 1788 tax list: over 21.
Married Anna Elizabeth Penninger prior to birth of oldest child in 1789. Proof of their marriage found in the settlement of her brother's estate, Pendleton County, WV, County Court Record 1828-1838:94.
Died before 5 September 1839, Pendleton County, VA, when his will was proven, per Pendleton County, WV, Will Book 4:200. Will was dated 16 Dec 1833. (Marguerite Priode, " Abstracts,........", p. 3
