I think Rennie was a son of Benjamin Franklin Alt of Pendleton Co., WV. The 1900 census had a son Rennie F. b. Nov 1885 listed. Benjamin F. was a son of William Alt and Amanda Judy. William was the son of Michael Alt and Mary(Unknown.) Michael was the son of Jacob Alt of Frederick/Washington Co., MD. I have been researching these Alt/Aults and I will send you more by e-mail.735
