Mrs. Zenie Mae Pennington, 75, a resident of the Rawley Springs (Va.) community for the past 30 years died Thursday evening Nov 19, at her home.
Mrs. Pennington had not been well for the past seven years and had been seriously ill for the last week.
She was the daughter of the late Reuben Wesley and Martha Thompson Harper and was born March 28, 1889 at Onego.
She was a member of the Mt. Olive Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Jack (Olive) Cook of Dayton, Va., Mrs. Edward C. (Evelyn) Shifflett of hinton, Va., and Mrs. William F. (Juanita) mathias of Stuarts Draft, VA; six sons, Harper A., Harold, Norman and Troy Pennington all of Dayton, VA and Paul and Richard F.Pennington of Harrisonburg; 24 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one brother, Arthur Harper, of Red Creek, WV
The funeral was conducted at Rawley Springs Mennonite Church by the Rev. Oliver Keener and the Rev. A. R. Bolls. Burial was in the church cemetery.
