Wenatchee -- Dwyer "Dwight" Clinton Jordan passed away October 14, 2006.
Born October 15, 1912, in Winnington, Alberta, Canada to Clinton Wood Jordan and Blanche (Ziglar) Jordan.
He spent his first years growing up on the Canadian prairies, then moved to Idaho and arrived in Wenatchee in 1926.
Dwight married Hazel K. Pygott July 21, 1933. They have two children, Robert D. (Carol) Jordan of Wenatchee and Dorothy (Michael) Sweeney of Twis
He was preceded in death by his brother, Clem F. Jordan; and sister, Dorothy Trulson. Dwight was a heavy equipment operator for Chelan Co PUD and retired in 1974.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Hazel; and children, Robert and Dorothy; four grandchildren, Dwight A. (Deb) Jordan, Dwayne (Lori) Jordan, Debbie (Cecil) Reimer and Robert (Julie) Jordan; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Jones and Jones Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mausoleum in Evergreen Memorial Park, East Wenatchee. Jones and Jones Funeral Directors in care of arrangements.
