grandson of Samuel Cooper, son of Jonas and Mary Cooper
Craig,
Thanks for coming back at me. We live in Pennsylvania. The info I have on Rosetta is: Rosetta was the daughter of Samuel Cooper and Elizabeth Wimer. Samuel Cooper was the son of Jonas Cooper and Mary Rohrbaugh. Samuel, Elizabeth, Rosetta, her husband Anderson Wolford and my-inlaws (Shirley Cooper and Margaret Anne Graham) are all buried in Flanaghan Hill Cemetery in Dry Fork, West Virginia. My father-in-law, Shirley Ross Cooper, was born to Rosetta Cooper on March 30, 1899 in Dry Fork, WV. She was not married. The father of Shirley Cooper was (first name unknown) Loughry. This is what I am searching for along with any other info on the Cooper family. The log cabin Shirley was born in still stands and I have seen it many times and have photos. Also the home Rosetta lived in after her marriage to Anderson Wolford still stands. Rosetta had 4 children by Anderson Wolford: Strawdie, Tacy, Hayes and Samuel. I have spent hours in the Tucker County, WV courthouse searching for info. If you have any info we could share I would greatly appreciate it.
Hoping to hear from you again, Beth
