My ancestor, Francis Marshall's estate was settled, as recorded in Warren Co.
Will Book A at page 276-77. The widow (Elizabeth ?) was paid her dower share,
$102.80 and the heirs, as shown, were paid $45.89 each. Payment as follows:
To William Lawson, his wife's share (Eliza Marshall)
To Elijah Broy, his wife's share (Mary Jane Marshall)
To William Smith, his wife's share (Lucinda Marshall)
To Joseph Putnam, his wife's share (Susan F. Marshall)
To Alexander Marshall, his share (no known wife)
To Mordicai Cloud, atty for John Marshall
To same atty for Geo Wrightman (Sarah Marshall)
To Samuel Spengler, atty for Catherine Ramey
I do not have a date on this but I think it was about 1840.

Can anyone help me with this family. I do not know Francis Marshall's parents or his wife Elizabeth's parents. I do not find Francis in any Marshall genealogies. I know they lived in Fauquier Co and Warren Co. Perhaps all the same place due to boundary changes.

Please help!
