184,682Sarah Ellen Lambert was born January 14, 1852, and departed this life September 14, 1940, aged 88 years and 8 months.
She leaves to mourn her loss her aged husband, Emanuel Lambert, and six children; 42 grandchildren; 91 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
She was consistent member of the United Brethren Church, and as far as we know held out faithfully until the end.
Funeral services were conducted at Solomon Chapel by her pastor, H. L. Wooddell, and a large number of people were present. The floral offerings were beautiful, and an evidence of the respect and esteem in which she was held in her community.
She lived a quiet, peaceful life and will be greatly missed in home and community.
Burial was on home place. Pallbearers were her grandchildren.

Emanuel A. Lambert was born Nov. 17, 1854, and departed this life Jan. 30, 1943, aged 88 years 2 months, 13 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Sarah E. Cassel, and to this union was born seven children, as follows.
Mrs. Cora Teter, deceased, Frank Lambert, deceased, Mrs. Margaret Bennett, Mrs. Jennie Kile deceased, Robert V. Lambert, Mrs. Dora Thompson and Fredrick Lambert.
He leaves to mourn his departure, his children one sister, and 34 grandchildren, and other relatives and a number of friends and neighbors. He was the oldest man in this section which he lived. He was converted more than 30 years ago during the first pastorate of the writer on the Circleville Charge, and joined the United Brethren Church, and far as we know was faithful to the end, which came very suddenly.
The funeral services were conducted at his home by his pastor, Rev. H. L. Wooddell, and interment was on the homestead, by the side of his wife who preceded him in death a few years ago.
