OBITUARY: Mary L. LeGore
Feb. 2, 1931-Aug. 1, 2009
PENDLETON - Mary L. LeGore, 78, of Pendleton died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at the Mission Assembly of God Church, 47328 Short Mile Road, in Pendleton. A potluck gathering will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
Mrs. LeGore was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Vernonia to Thomas and Gladys (Smith) Fulton. She was raised and attended schools in Vernonia.
In 1945 she married Kenneth LeGore in Vancouver, Wash.
The couple had seven children. In 1960 they moved to Pendleton, where her husband went to work for Harris Pine Mills. She worked as a hyster operator for Harris Pine Mills for 30 years. She then worked at K-Mart in Pendleton for a short time.
Mrs. LeGore is survived by sons Richard LeGore and David LeGore, both of Molalla, and Jack LeGore of Pendleton; daughters Judy Snyder of Pendleton, Sherri Wier of Bandon and Joyce William of Snow Flake, Ariz.; brothers Bud Fulton of Huntington, Rick Fulton of Yakama, Wash., and Bill Fulton of Burns; sister Judy Davis of Heppner; 25 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and son Kenneth LeGore.
