FRONIE JORDAN TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Fronie B. Jordan, 66, died at 11:05 yesterday morning at Tri-State Hospital where she had been a patient since June 26.
She had been a bookkeeper for Hutchins Bros. Mill, Weippe, for 10 years, and had worked for that firm until January of this year.
She was born Jan. 1, 1899, at Crescent City, Califo., a daughter of MR. and Mrs. John Bramlet. They moved to Craigmont when she was a young child. She attended school at Fletcher.
She married Harry Wright and they were later divorced. She later married Oswald Pederson, who owned and operated a sawmill out of West Lake near Craigmont, until 1941 when they moved to Weippe. He operated a mill there until his death in March 1945. On Dec. 4, 1947, she was married to Clinton Jordan in Arkansas and they lived in Weippe where he was a woods worker. He died May 6, this year.
She was a member of the Christian Church of Craigmont.
Survivors include one son, Harry Pederson, Clarkston; two daughters, Mrs. May Bies, Weippe and Mrs. Fronie Nuxoll, Bend, Ore.; two stepsons, Dwight and Clem Jordan, both Wenatchee; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Wilber Bramlet, Kamiah, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Martin, Portland.
The body is at Gilbert's Funeral Chapel.
