Freddie R. Bonner
Freddie Rachel Bonner, 84, of Gladwin, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007, at her home.
She was born Jan. 6, 1923, at Oceola, a daughter of the late Don and Irabelle Teter Waybright.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas L. Bonner, two sons, James Bonner and wife, Betty, of Gladwin and Thomas J. Bonner and wife, Anna, of Kerens; two daughters, Wilma Jean Wing and husband, Floyd, of Waldorf, Md., and Wanda Jane Jernigan and husband, Sam, of Arlington, Va.; three sisters, Erma Gordon of Keyser, Shirley McBee of Bowden and Loraine Fowler of Points; 12 grandsons, Howie and Timothy White, Jimmy, Tommy, Wesley and Michael Hedrick, Jamie, Anthony, Matthew, Joshua, Jordan and Jerry Bonner; four granddaughters, Sherry Campise, Janice Thompson, Julie Wyatt and Nicole Wing; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bonner was preceded in death by one son, Jerry D. Bonner; and six brothers, Carl, Denny, Willard, Earl, Sturl and Andrew Waybright.
Mrs. Bonner was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, crocheting and was a wonder cook. She was known as “Granny” by her family and friends and was an active member of Flanagan Hill United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Hinkle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at Flanagan Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. J.H. Johnson officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Martin. Interment will follow in Flanagan Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Flanagan Hill United Methodist Church, P.O. Box, 24, Red Creek, W.Va. 26289. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. From 12 Mar 2007.

Thomas L. Bonner
Thomas Lindsey Bonner, 88, of Gladwin, died May 28, 2010, in Elkins Regional Convalescent Center.
He was born Dec. 13, 1921, at Gladwin, a son of the late Sturley and Iva Winola Smith Bonner.
His wife, Freddie Bonner, preceded him in death in March 2007.
He is survived by two sons, James and Betty Bonner of Gladwin and Thomas J. and Anna Bonner of Kerens; one daughter, Wanda Jane and Sam Jernigan of Arlington, Virginia; one son-in-law, Floyd Wing of Waldorf, Maryland; and four brothers, Norman Bonner of Gladwin, Jack Bonner of Gladwin, Theodore Bonner of Massillon, Ohio, and Allen Bonner of Hay Market, Virginia; and 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were a son, Jerry Don Bonner; daughter Wilma Jean Wing; three brothers, Ralph, Raymond and George; and one sister that died at birth.
Mr. Bonner was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served in World War II. He was a school bus driver for Tucker County Schools for 26 years. He was a member of Davis IOOF Lodge 103 and the Flanagan Hill United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading and conversing with others about old times and money.
Friends were received Monday at Hinkle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Flanagan Hill United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. today with the Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Flanagan Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to: Flanagan Hill United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 24, Red Creek, West Virginia 26289.
