PIERCE CIRCA 1945—In this picture of Pierce, taken in about 1945, cars and residents from that time period can be seen near the buildings. The building on the far right has a sign which says “Silver Dollar.” It partially conceals a sign beginning with the letters C-A. Next is a building with a sign that says “McGuire’s,” and next is the I.O.O.F. Hall. Beyond that is a hotel café, then Clearwater Garage. A Coca Cola sign hangs from the far left building.
