Notes for Henry Clay Snyder
Henry was born at Harman, WV, moved to Frazier, ID in 1913. Went farming until 1925 when he moved to Pierce, ID. He Lived at Pierce, Idaho from 1925 to 1942 and during that time served as a member of the council and as mayor. He also operated the Pierce Hotel.
He was a thirty-year member of the Eagle’s Lodge. He lived to be eighty-six years old, and was very active all his life.61

Personal note: I remember Uncle Henry walking near the home of my grandmother, Marie [Pritchard] Snyder Sterling, when I was growing up. He lived nearby and I visited his home sometime during the 60’s. [Craig Snyder]

Henry owned a hotel in Pierce, Idaho
