: : : Here is where I get way to confused:
: : : I think I can get back to -
: : : Col Robert Lewis marrying Jane Merriwether in 1725;
: : : having a daughter Mildred Lewis of Belvoir???; who marries Maj John Lewis the son of "pioneer irish" John Lewis and Ursula Hardin; Maj John Lewis and Mildred have a son (Sam H. Lewis b 1768) who would be my great-great-great-great grandfather.
: : : Anyone else have this information.
I know this family well! Samuel Hardin Lewis is my 3-grt. grandfather and Mildred (Lewis) Lewis and John Lewis are my 4-grt. grandparents.
Please contact me for the rest of the family. D. Elledge
