He married (1) Margaret (_____). She was born 1776 in Petersburg, Hardy County, VA. He married (2) Margaret Elizabeth Davis April 12, 1792 in Hardy Co. West Va.7, daughter of John Davis. She was born 1773 in Petersburg, Augusta County, VA7, and died July 23, 1828 in Fayette County, OH7.

Martin Luther Carr was born in 1772 in VA. He went west to OH and then on to Kosciusco county, IN. He was married in 1792 in Pendleton county, VA To Elizabeth Davis (1773-1825). Her father, John, was a Tory and could always be found in the jail, accused of treason. His second wife, in OH, was Margaret. His children were apparently only from Elizabeth. He died in Kosciusco county, IN, in 1844.

Nov. 14, 1831 Sold 60 acres on Compton's fork of N. Fork of Paint Creek, Fayette County, Ohio for $800 to John Johnson. Deed Bk. "F", pages 513-514.
1840 Kosciusko County, Indiana census.
1791 he was mentioned in his father's Fairfax lease, Hardy County, VA. He was still in Hardy County in 1795. He wrote a will Aug. 31, 1844 and it was probated in Kosciusko County, Indiana Oct. 31, 1844.
