John Davies' "A History of Wales" states that he siezed the throne of Gwynedd in 1018 and ruled until 1023. Nothing is known of his ancestry. Upon his death the kingdom of Gwynedd aparently was returned to IAGO ap IDWAL (RIN 2579) of the line descended from ANARAWD ap RHODRI (RIN 2583).
