OK, I just found myself on ancestory.com. Obviously you know a lot more about me than I do about you. I am the daughter of Charles Byers Lawson.

I was really excited to see the information about John Lawson and the origin in Scotland. I and several others have been researching information on John. There are quite a few Lawson relatives in West Virginia that are not included in this chart. Maybe we should start submitting some more information.

There is also information missing. John F. Lawson had 6 children and 5 of them survived. I know because my father was very close to his Aunt, and to this day I wear her ring. We knew of her as Aunt Addie, but her name was quite a bit more complicated than that. She married David Oscar Flook and is buried in the Lacey Spring Cemetary. They did not have children. I will get the birth and death dates out of the family bible if you would like to correct this. Thanks, Karen
