179Funeral services were conducted in the Bethel Church in Dry Fork Monday morning for Martin Van Buren Pennington, 81, who died at his home there Saturday.
He was born at Harman, November 22, 1862, the son of the late Nathaniel & Susan Carr Pennington. His wife died several years ago. He survived by four sons, Madison of Mackeyville; Claude of Eglon; Asa of Dry Fork and William at home. Three daughters, Lectie of Dry Fork, and Alta and Margie at home; two brothers, Nathaniel of Mackeyville and Adam of Mount Storm also survive.
