Notes for Lafayette (Spouse 2)
1446There is a cemetery on Lafayette's son Elem's farm. Known as Cemetery #2. The farm now belongs to Elem's son Luther. (1986). Most of Lafayette 's family is buried there.
Taken from The Lambert Family History by, Grace Lambert Tingler:
" Lafayette and his brother Frank lived close to each other all there l ives. They each had oxen. Jason Lambert told us about them. He remembered the re names. Lafayette wanted his children close to him and gave some of them land. He helped the rest in any way he could. George lived a few yards away. El em, Estie, Conrad, James, Mary Jane, all lived close to him also. Lena, they oungest, stayed with her father. George got the home place after his death and sold the old Lambert Home place to the U.S. Government."
