Notes for James Blaine Ault
James Blaine Ault, 60, Short Gap, was dead on arrival this morning at Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health 16 years.
A native of Red Creek, W. Va., he was born May 1, 1898 a son of the late William A. and Virginia M. (Bonner) Ault.
Mr. Ault was a member of the Christian Church and was employed as a surveyor for the U. S. Government.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marie (Ours) Ault; a daughter, Miss Nora Ault, at home; and a son Gene Ault, stationed with the navy in Japan; two brothers, Willam G Ault, Red Creek; and Dale Ault, Davis, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hedrick, Red Creek, and Mrs. George Clayton, Ridgeley, and a granddaughter.
The body is at the George Funeral Homer where the family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m and 7 until 9 p.m.

179SHORT GAP, W.Va. -- Marie Ault, 91, of Short Gap, died Tuesday at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Sept. 13, 1909, in Dorcas, she was the daughter of the late Noah M. and Flora (Stump) Ours.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Blaine Ault, and seven brothers and eight sisters.
Mrs. Ault had worked for the Celanese Corporation in the Downtwist Department. She had been a cook for over 40 years at Barton's Restaurant.
Survivors include her daughter, Nora V. Ault, with whom she resided; one son, Gene Ault and wife Susan, Sykesville, Md.; five grandchildren, Debbie Flannary and husband Dave, Berkeley Springs, Carol Dietz and husband Dan, Germantown, Md., Pamela Long and husband Ronald, Middletown, Md., Kimberly Ault, Sykesville, James Ault and wife Lisa, Martinsburg; six great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Paul E. Deitz officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens
