I do have the obituary of their son, Dr. James W. McKinney, a dentist in Kansas City. From the "Kansas City Times" of Dec. 8, 1952:
“Dr. James W. McKinney: Services for retired dentist, 78, will be held Tuesday: Dr. James W. McKinney, 78, a retired dentist, died yesterday at the home, 1322 Quindaro Boulevard, Kansas City, KS.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Broyles, Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. Henry H. Branch, 1212 N. Twenty-fifth street, Kansas City, Ks. Services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Tues. at the Echternacht chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers and asks that any memorial donation be given St. Paul's Episcopal theological fund.
