  I actually had an obituary card in my obituary book for Edward Nelson, born February 26, 1905, died September 9, 1981. Services held at Henderson, Van Atta & Johnston Chapel, Saturday 11 a.m. Officiating Clergyman. Rev. Homer Ritchey.   Interment Newark Memorial Gardens.   (Same as his wife)

Edward Nelson's obituary was very skimpy:  
"Edward Nelson, 76, of 537 W. Gay St., Harrisonburg died Wednesday in Ohio.   Surviving are his wife, Mabel L. Nelson of Harrisonburg; a son, Jack E. Nelson of Heath, Ohio; ... [five stepchildren]; and two grandchildren.   The funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at the Henderson, VanAtta and Johnston Funeral Chapel in Newark, Ohio.   Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens."

He was married to Myrtle Lambert and Mabel Martha (Sponaugle) Long.
