Services for Frank Nelson, 70, rear of 248 N. Fifth St. will be 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Henderson, Van Atta and Johnston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Nelson died this morning in his home. He was born Feb. 17, 1911, in Whitmer, W. Va., to the late John Nelson and Alice (Butcher) Nelson.
He retired in 1976 from White Westinghouse Shipping Department.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Harper) Nelson; two sons: Eddie Leon Nelson of Newark and Raymond Lee Nelson of Marne; one sister, Mrs. Evie Arbaugh of Newark; four brothers: Kemp Nelson of Beverly, W. Va., Dodge Nelson of Health, Edward Nelson of Virginia, and Jess Nelson of Newark; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home
