Services for Jesse J. Nelson, 75, of 5792 Bear Hollow Road, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Henderson, Van Atta and Johnston Funeral Home with the Rev. William Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.
Mr. Nelson died Sunday afternoon at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 27, 1913 in Whitmer, W. Va.; to the late John and Alice (Butcher) Nelson.
He was retired from the Pharis Tire and Rubber Co. and Westinghouse Corp. He was a member of Brownsville United Methodist Church and the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his wife Julia Nelson and one sister Eva Arbaugh of Newark. Thirteen brothers and sisters are deceased.
