184,179Irene Vivian Judy, 74, of Harman, passed away March 19, 2004, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born April 3, 1929, in Harman, a daughter of the late Henry Clay and Dollie Blanche Vandevander Smith.
She is survived by three sons, Carl Judy Jr. of Mentor, Ohio, Robert Judy and Kenneth Greg Judy, both of Harman; four daughters, Melva Davies of Fishers, Ind., Teresa Judy of Cumberland, Md., Dina Carr of Hartville, Ohio, and Jannene Carr of Martinsburg; three sisters, Jocie Cooper of Harman, Gladys Harper of Dry Fork and Mary Ellen Floyd of Akron, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers.
Mrs. Judy was a homemaker. She worked as a cook at the Harman Senior Center and was a very active member in Women’s Ministry and the Dry Fork Assembly of God Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rosenbaum Family House, WVU Hospitals, P.O. Box 8228, Medical Center Dr., Morgantown, W.Va. 26506-8228.
Friends will be received at the Dry Fork Assembly of God Church today from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church Sunday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Green and the Rev. Kenneth Plaster officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
