2154Edward Joseph Pennington, 88, of Wiley Ford, died yesterday at the Valley View
Nursing Home in Berkeley Springs. He had been ill for five years.
Born in Ruddle, W.Va., he was a son of the late John and Ellen (Bible) Pennington. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cecillia J. (Smith) Pennington; two sons, Bennie E. Pennington, Pasadena, Md., and Robert Pennington, Piedmont; three daughters, Mrs. Marvel Morlen; Wiley Ford; Mrs. Vernie L. .White, Severna Park; and Mrs.,Navada Starnes, Laurel; a brother, Fred Pennington, Franklin; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren;
The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4and 7 to 9 p.m.
