2159French J White, 68, a resident of Severna Park for 36 years, died of respiratory failure Aug 20 at North Arundel Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mr. White was born May 15, 1933, in Milum W. Va., and raised in Harmon, W. Va. He served in the Navy from 1952 to 1956.
He was employed as a commercial chauffeur for the former Maryland Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. in Baltimore.
Mr. White enjoyed hunting, fishing, and metal detecting.
Surviving are his wife, Vernie White, four sons, Randy White of Asheville, N.C., Dennis White of Severna Park, Rickey White of Crofton and Joseph White of Pasadena, three brothers, Richard White of Elkins, W. Va., Paul White of Baltimore and Jimmy White of Arizona, three sisters, Gladys Trujillo of Oxford, N.C., Pearl Brown of Glen Burnie and Juanita Vandervender of Elkins, eight grandchildren, and one great grandson.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery in Glen Burnie.
