Bobby Gene Pennington, 59, a resident of 400 Lone Pine Drive, Apt. GG4, Timberville, died Monday, March 30, 2009, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Pennington was born on July 9, 1949, in Rockingham County, and was the son of the late Robert and Doris Vandevander Pennington.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher Andrews of Harrisonburg, Donald Sutherly and wife, Toy, of Timberville; one daughter, Joy Sutherly; one sister, Joyce Sutherly of Grottoes; and seven grandchildren, Eric Sutherly, Ashley Earman, A.J. Hedrick, Michael Lytle, Amanda Andrews, Kristin Andrews, D.J. Sutherly.
The Rev. Curtis Hensley will conduct a graveside service Thursday at 3 p.m. at Mount Clinton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 until 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home, Harrisonburg.
