Graveside services for Elizabeth K. “Betty” Mallow, 77, of Madison, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Road, in Madison.
Mrs. Mallow passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at home.
Born July 9, 1931, in Jenningston, W.Va., she was the daughter of Leta (Simmons) and Cecil Smith.
She was a 1950 graduate of Harmon West Virginia High School. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Mallow had worked at IRC Fibers and Western Reserve Telephone Company. She also worked at Lakeland Nursing Home.
Survivors are her husband of 58 years, Forest H. Mallow, whom she married March 9, 1950, in Oakland, Md.; two daughters, Colleen (Willard) Hull of Leroy Township and Margaret (Paul) Jasper of Columbus; son, Forest H. (Janet) Mallow Jr., of Geneva; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Rev. James Burnett of Bible Baptist Church in Madison and Rev. Nick Rizzo will officiate the service.
The family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.

MADISON — Forest H. Mallow Sr., age 83, a resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at Rae Ann in Geneva, Ohio.

Born July 31, 1927, in Onego, W.Va., to Lena (Bennet) and Jasper Mallow. Forest served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Elizabeth Smith on March 9, 1950, in Oakland, Md.

He was owner operator of FH Mallow Disposal. He enjoyed farming, gardening and hunting.

He is survived by his daughters, Colleen (Buck) Hull of Leroy Township and Margaret (Paul) Jasper of Columbus; son, Forest “Clem” (Janet) H. Mallow Jr. of Geneva; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Velma Ritchey of Grand River, Ohio; and brothers, Keith Mallow of Dry Fork, W.Va. and Herb Mallow of Mabee, W.Va.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; his parents; brothers, Hancel, Roy, Gerald and Warren; and sisters, Myrtle, Hazel, Opel and Elma.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio. Burial will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery.
