Mrs.
Flossie Mae Pennington, 71,of Cass died Saturday March 20, 1971, in an Elkins hospital after a short illness.
She was a member of the Cass United Methodist Church at Cass for 16 years.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Leabelle Gum,Mrs. Betty Swink,and Miss Retha Pennington all of Cass; Mrs. Louella Dumire of Myrtle Point, Oregon, Mrs. Catherine Jones of Wheeling, and Mrs. Hazel Hinerman of Fairmont; six sons Roy, Paul and Ronald all of Cass, Leonard Pennington of Slatyfork, James Pennington of Bartow and Carl Pennington of Washington, D. C.
Her mother Laura Varner Hoover of Dryfork; three sisters Miss Laura Varner and Miss Ida Varner both of Dryfork and Mrs. Denver Raines of Perry, Ohio; five brothers Kelly, Luster, Barthel and John all of Dryfork, and Samuel of Brandywine; 24 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Cass United Methodist Church by Rev. Kenneth Montgomery and the Rev. David Rittenhouse with burial in the Arbovale Cemetery.
