Robert Howard Boone was the son of James W. and Liller Thomas Boone. His sister was Grace Boone. Robert Howard Boone's father died in 1897 at the very young age of 21. His grandparents, Benjamin Howard and Susan M. Boone, helped to raise them.
The obituary in the photo section has a mistake. It says that Robert Howard Boone was the son of Benjamin Howard and Susan M. Keys Boone of Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas. He actually was their grandson.
Robert married Bertha Altha Thurmond. There were 4 children born to Robert Howard and Bertha Boone: Thurston Odell Boone, Thurman Dee Boone, May Dell Boone, and James Robert Boone.
Robert Howard Boone died at age 86 and is buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas with a large number of his family members.
