Parsons--Mrs. Retha Marie White, 58. of RD 1 Hendricks, died Tuesday at Tucker County Hospital where she was a patient two days.
Born at Elk, she was a daughter of Oliver and Louisa (Carr) Carr of Hendricks.
Besides her parents she is survived by her husband, Elmer White, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Young, Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Joseph Roy, here; two sons, L. O. White, RD 1, Ridgeley, and Granville White, Cleveland; six brothers, Peter Carr, Elkins; Warren White, Canton, and Floyd, Glenn, Robert and Sturley all of Hendricks; six sisters, Mrs. Lillie Plaugher, Mrs. Nellie Jenkins, Hendricks; Miss Hazel and Mary Carr, here; Mrs. Margie Long, Lyons, Ohio, and Mrs. Dovie Johnson, Canton; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The body is at the Greenlief Funeral Home where a service will be conducted tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Rankin Roach will officiate and interment will be in Parsons City Cemetery.
