Rosemary M. Teed, 90, Lewiston
Rosemary Teed passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, of natural causes at Orchards Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lewiston. She was 90.
She was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Moscow, to Rose and Lemuel Hunt. She lived most of her life in Weippe, attending school in Weippe and Moscow.
Rosemary married Ralph S. Teed Jr. on June 10, 1937, in Lewiston. He died July 15, 1965.
In 1976, Rosemary moved to Lewiston and worked for Blue Ribbon for eight years. Prior to that, she spent many years taking care of her family as a homemaker. She was a member of Orchards Community Church in Lewiston and was involved with the Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include three sons, Milo S. Teed of Lewiston, Monty L. Teed of Lewiston and Tracy Teed of Weippe; three daughters, Laurinda A. Wise of Volcano, CA, Wendy Teed of Lewiston and Tammy K. Wells of Clarkston, WA; a sister, Joan Kling of Soap Lake, WA.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Preston Teed; a daughter, Lorraine Hutchins; a brother, Lyle Hunt; and a grandson, Larry Teed.
A memorial service was held Saturday, July 3 at Orchards Community Church, with interment at Weippe Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Brewster will officiate. Mountain View Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
