Note: Probably lived in the Harman hills of Penleton County. Listed as Private, 30 April 1865-31 May 1865, Pendleton Home Guards, Captain John Boggs' Company of Pendleton Scouts. Called into service by WV Governor Boreman. Place of enrollment was Mouth of Seneca for one year.

179Elizabeth Jordan born in Pendleton County, W. Va., May 14th, 1843, died at the home of her son Felix at Whitmer, W. Va., with whom she made her home the past twenty years, June 11, 1924, aged 81 years and 27 days.
Mrs. Jordan was the daughter of Michael Hedrick of Pendleton County, W. Va. and had been married twice, the first union being with James Huffman, and after the death of the first husband she married William Jordan both of Pendleton County. It was the lot of Mrs. Jordan to be left early in life with a large family dependent upon her for support.
She leaves the following children to mourn her loss: James of Elkins; Frank, Isaac, and Felix of Whitmer and one daughter, Mrs. Hattie Grovident of Davis. Michael and Bennie having preceded this mother to the "Great Beyond" many years ago.
