Funeral Services Held Wednesday for Mrs. Bennett
Mrs. Margaret Ann Bennett, 86 of Riverton, died Sunday in Davis Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of the late Marcellas Bennett who preceded her in death on June 19, 1930.
Mrs. Bennett was born at Riverton, April 14, 1880, a daughter of Emanuel and Sarah Ellen Castle Lambert. She was a member of the EUB Church.
She is survived by a daughter , Mrs. Sam (Laura) Grapes of Piedmont; six sons, Jesse Bennett and Charlie Bennett of Circleville, Ora Bennett, at home, and Russell Bennett, Kennie Bennett and George Bennett, all of Riverton; a brother, Veach Lambert of Riverton; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers, and two sisters.
A funeral service was conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Solomon Chapel Church by the Rev. Larry Miles, and interment was by Brown Funeral Service in the Bland Cemetery.
