Mary Louise Essix was born in 1638 in Northampton County, Virginia. She died in 1730. She married John Hensley in 1655.

They had the following children:

  M i William Henry Hensley was born in 1663 in Northampton County, Virginia. He died on 17 Mar 1734/1735.
  M ii Benjamin Francis Hensley was born in 1671 in Northampton County, Virginia. He died on 21 Apr 1757 in Orange County, Virginia.
  M iii Samuel Thomas Hensley
