Some forty years ago she became a Christian and united with the Methodist Church to which she remained faithful till the end.

All in All she was one of those busy women of whom might be truthfully said, "She went about doing good to others." Now she is gone into the world of spirits to await the coming of her loved ones and to rest in peace with those gone before.
She and her second husband Adam Sponaugle had the pleasure of living together for 63 years.
Her funeral was preached by Rev. ? L. Bennett, assisted by her pastor, at the home of her son, John Sponaugle with whom she lived, being the home place of her father, Isaac J. Nelson and her home place. Her body was then laid to rest in the Community Cemetery overlooking her home.
