Virginia Jordan Of Lewiston Dies At St. Joseph's Hospital
Virginia K. Jordan, 89, 105 N. Garden Court, died yesterday at St. Joseph's Hospital of an intestinal obstruction. She had been ill about two months.
Mrs. Jordan, a Lewiston resident for 30 years, was born March 12, 1884 at Red Creek, W. Va., the daughter of Steward and Mary J. Flanagan. She married Okey J. Jordan in West Virginia in February of 1900. They moved to Frazier, Ida., in 1907 and to Weippe in 1924.
Jordan died in October, 1934, and Mrs. Jordan moved to Lewiston in 1943.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lorraine White, Weippe, Mrs. Manda L. Schlader, Lewiston, and Mrs. Agnes L. Satchwell, Kooskia; two sons, Aytch Jordan and Boyd R. "Bud" Jordan, both of Lewiston; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Charles mooney of the Lewiston First Assembly of God Church will officiate. Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery.

OKEY JORDAN DIES
Okey Jordan, a resident of the Weippe section, died Tuesday evening, September 11th of a complication of ailments. He had been in ill health for some time and caught cold last Saturday. He developed double pheumonia which was the immediate cause of death.
Deceased was born September 3rd, 1876 at Jobe, West Virginia and died at the age of 58 years and eight days. He followed woods work in West Virginia and moved to Idaho in 1907 and was engaged in sawmilling and farming up to the time of his death.
He is survived by his widow, four daughters and four sons: Mrs. Clarence White, Pat Jordan, Mrs. Lester C. Bringman, Mrs. Leonard Wilson, Aytch Jordan, Okey Jordan, Jr., Agnes Jordan, and Boyd Jordan, all residing in the Fraser and Weippe sections. He also leaves to mour his loss five brothers and four sisters: Baxter Jordan, Hendricks, W. Va.; Mrs. Blanch Norman, Akron, Ohio; Zan Jordan and John Jordan, Orofino; Fleet Jordan, Clint Jordan, Mrs. J.P. Farrance, Mrs. H.J. Edmonson, all of Weippe and Mrs. John W. Snyder, Fraser.
Funeral services were conducted this afternoon (Thursday) at the Fraser church, 2:00 p.m. and interment will be made in the Fraser cemetery. Wayne Herres of the Orofino Mortuary handled arrangements.
