Notes for Martin Van Buren Bonner
179Martin VanBuren Bonner lived with Rosa Belle Bright after the death of Eliza Jane and fathered several children with her. She gave them all her maiden name of Bright that she took back after her divorce from her first husband Charles Mace Davis. Some of these Brights are still living and still own the original farm in Red Creek where Martin VanBuren Bonner is buried on top the mountain next to the house.
